Let me tell ya though, LA street smarts has taught me that if you want to avoid guns, avoid the hoods that have chain link fences, bars on windows, busy liquor stores, and dudes with that clazed cracqued out look in their eyes! and well dang it, they have no place to garden so howz else they gonna use those guns! He said "we build guidance systems, we build launch vehicles & platforms, we don't kill people". Which is technically true, but some of the most absurd rationalization I've ever heard. An appropriate analog for the gun industry might be "we build small, portable ballistic delivery systems, it's not our fault people don't use them for gardening..." I disagree with you on several points (ie. the gun registry.) but understand the frustration.
