Radarsat-2 - I am not obsessed just
trying to keep records on this unfolding massive Canadian science and technology affair! It is a most phantastical case study in Federal decision making. Further, I am learning a great deal about Federal Committees and the lobbying process just by paying attention to this one issue.

Looks like my local guy Paul Dewar (2) has convinced the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development (FAAE) to hold hearings.
If Paul is anything like his mom (who in my heart and mind carried out the best refugee integration project in Canada’s history), he keeps up the solid work and continues to pull off what he has so far in office, then I suspect he will be one of Canada’s most important leaders.
